You can either hold the pose as pictured for a set amount of time or add in some reps (go for 15/side) of leg lifts while balancing in the side plank 💪🏽🔥 ⁣ ⁣ I didn’t have gym access during my trip, so this was another exercise I was rotating in quite a bit for my #fittravelaction. Swipe, Save and tag a friend to do this with you! 💛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔥😱 Incorporated a few new moves into this one that look easy, but when doing this workout it targets the glutes to just complete epic burn out! 💪🏼 Go heavy with the weight ladies - you should be STRUGGLING on the last few reps of each set! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ THE BREAKDOWN ⬇️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ 1 mile warm up jog ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ Glute Activation Exercises (see my IGTV for how to video!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ 3x10 Barbell Squats (with resistance band just above knees) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4️⃣ 3x10-15 Single Leg Step-Ups holding bar and kicking back (squeeze glute to top of kickback) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5️⃣ 3x12 RDLs (use DB or Barbell) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 6️⃣ superset RDLs with 10 side to side step squats holding weight at chest (should be BURNING) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 7️⃣ 3 Sets of (5-5-Till Failure) Laying down Hammy Curls: ▫️5 reps single leg curls (right) ▫️5 reps single leg curls (left) ▫️Till Failure (both legs together) Keep weight the same (I used 30 lbs) it will feel like 1000lbs when you do both legs together.
