1/3 tasse de noix de pecans hachées grossièrement
1/3 tasse d’amandes effilées
2 grosses cuillères à soupe de beurre d’amande (ou de peanut) 
2 cuillères à soupe d’huile d’olive
1/2 tasse de noix de coco râpée (sucrée ou non sucrée, pour ma part non sucrée)
Une petite pincée de sel

I’ve had a can of green lentils in my cupboard for months now and when I saw Hazel post the recipe the other day I finally had a ️moment and knew how to use the lentils! .

As a veggie, I absolutely do not use lentils and pulses enough in my meals. This recipe tasted awesome! I’ve tried Spag Bol before with fake mince but I just don’t like it. This recipe was far more healthier, quick to make and filled with vitamins and minerals!

I’ll repost @thefoodmedic post in my stories so you can also copy the recipe to try  I added a pepper into the recipe but I guess any veg can be thrown in!

    This lentil hummus recipe is delicious, healthy & works with just about any meal. Try it to know it!

Ingredients: - 2 cups Pride of India Brown Lentils, cooked (go to the link in bio, search for Brown Crimson Lentils & learn how to)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp Pride of India Sesame Seed
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. Pride of India Cumin Ground
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 3/4 tsp Pride of India Pink Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pride of India Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp water

Recipe:
- Add all ingredients to a food processor; process until smooth.

Drizzle with oil. Serve with pita bread, or eat as is.

Protip: You can try this hummus recipe with other lentils as well - red lentils, green lentils, and see which one works for you best.

Cottage cheese and I are definitely having a food moment right now So when I saw @cupcakesforprs genius idea to add sugar free pudding mix, there was no way I wasn't trying it out myself. Verdict: Absolutely delicious, thick and filling🤤 I mixed 270 grams (about 1.5 cups) low fat cottage cheese with 8 grams (1 Tablespoon) of SF cheesecake pudding mix and popped it in the fridge for a few hours. Topped it off with @flavoredpbco Caramel Crunch PB🥜 pretzels, butterscotch chips and a healthy sprinkle of sea salt. Hope everyone's having a great Saturday!

    I REALLY struggled with getting my workout in this morning. I was feeling tired and I tried talking myself out of it for awhile, telling myself I PROMISE to work out later…all well knowing I wouldn’t. So I used the 5-4-3-2-1 method from @melrobbins and went to the gym. 
I kept going back and forth with myself in the middle of my workout. Thoughts swirling in mind about how I ate too much yesterday, I am not working out hard enough, I can do more, etc.

Instead of going down this path, I decided two things. Enough of the negative talk and what am I really telling myself here? *I let go of defeating thoughts, they won’t help me today. *The thoughts of I am not working out hard enough are because I am comparing myself to others.

I designed a workout program for myself that I like, that challenges me and somedays I am not going to follow it all the way. Why beat myself up over it? I tuned into my body. My legs felt sore from a hike yesterday. If I asked them, they might say take it a little easier today, we need some rest. 
I looked at myself in the mirror and saw my strong legs. I noticed some new muscle I haven’t seen in awhile. My legs that carried me up the mountain yesterday even when they were tired. I looked at my stomach and put my hand over it, feeling my love rolls and deciding instead of hating them, I would give them gratitude for being a part of my healthy body. I looked at the sweat on my forehead, evidence that I am still working today. I looked at my face and into my eyes and said you are beautiful.

The struggle wasn’t with my body today, it was with my mind. Instead, I took the time to notice myself. To allow thoughts of compassion and from there, it gave me the motivation to get through the workout. And even do a few more exercises than I originally wanted to! All while still honoring what was my body was telling me. 
Self compassion is the key and I am continuing to learn ways to apply it to many areas of my life. Especially where I  haven’t thought to use it before. It’s simply allowing yourself to just be you, doing things on your terms and not comparing your day to anyone else’s. #loveyourselftoday #motivationmonday
