    Do this for bigger arms‼️ Whether you’re training for aesthetics or size, arms can be very tricky in regard to proportion. Theres a few key muscles/exercises that will help make your arms look bigger and more proportional. One thing to keep in mind while you’re training arms is that they are a secondary muscle group/ they also work as stabilizers for compound movements. So with this in mind you are always activating your arm muscles with exercises like ▪️Bench Press(triceps,shoulders), ▪️Underhand Close Grip Pull-Ups(biceps,rear deltoids), ▪️Dips(shoulders, triceps) barbell rows(rear deltoids)
So training these specific exercises you’re using your “arms” as a secondary muscle group
You should be doing these exercises at a high volume intensity with heavy weight for size, and lighter weight for hypertrophy(which will give the muscles for definition)
️Also don’t forget to do isolation movements such as Iso Curls, Rope Extensions, Front/Side Raises. This will really help with make your muscles having more definition️
Another great way to keep your arms looking strong and vascular is start doing exercises other than always using weights. What kind of exercises you may ask? While no one specific meal will make you gain or lose weight, your meals and snacks for the day all together will add up to hit your target goals.

As a reminder, for fat loss you need to be in a sustainable caloric deficit. For muscle gain, you need to be in a caloric surplus. For macitence, you need to be at a a caloric maintenance level.

While that exact caloric number will be different for everyone, here are some examples to help you reach your goals.

As you can see for the weight loss meals, they’re not devoid of all complex carbs. While at dinner, I skipped the rice for cauliflower rice, at lunch, I still included the full sweet potato and just skipped the toppings that were in the muscle gain meal.

Additionally, I made sure I had plenty of healthy fats in the weight loss meals but still had a smaller portion than in the muscle gain meals.

🥗Lunch fat loss - 4oz chicken, 1 sweet potato, 1 cup broccoli.
🥗Lunch muscle gain - Added 2oz chicken, added 1 banana + 1 tbsp pb.

Breakfast fat loss - 2 eggs + 2 egg whites, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes + 1/4 cup mushrooms + 1/4 cup asparagus sautéed + 1 piece Ezekiel toast.
Breakfast muscle gain - Added 2 eggs, + 1/4 avocado, + 1 tbsp pb.

🥘Dinner fat loss - 4oz wild salmon, 1 cup cauliflower rice, 1 cup mushrooms + 1 cup kale sautéed in 1 tsp olive oil.
🥘Dinner muscle gain - Added 2oz salmon, subbed in 1 cup rice for 1 cup cauliflower.

For muscle gain, you need to be in a caloric surplus. For macitence, you need to be at a a caloric maintenance level. ⠀ While that exact caloric number will be different for everyone, here are some examples to help you reach your goals. ⠀ As you can see for the weight loss meals, they’re not devoid of all complex carbs. While at dinner, I skipped the rice for cauliflower rice, at lunch, I still included the full sweet potato and just skipped the toppings that were in the muscle gain meal. ⠀ Additionally, I made sure I had plenty of healthy fats in the weight loss meals but still had a smaller portion than in the muscle gain meals. ⠀ More info below: ⠀ ⠀ 🥗Lunch fat loss - 4oz chicken, 1 sweet potato, 1 cup broccoli. 🥗Lunch muscle gain - Added 2oz chicken, added 1 banana + 1 tbsp pb. ⠀ Breakfast fat loss - 2 eggs + 2 egg whites, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes + 1/4 cup mushrooms + 1/4 cup asparagus sautéed + 1 piece Ezekiel toast. Here is a good back training tip that you've never heard before. When you are doing any kind of pulling movement for back, make sure that you are pulling with your elbows and not with your arms.
•
Most people do one-arm dumbbell rows by using their biceps a lot in the movement, this is wrong. I have a incorrect vs. correct form video for one-arm dumbbell rows. If you scroll down you will find it.
•
This is the queue you should look for: whether you are pulling vertically or horizontally, imagine a bull's-eye on your lower back. You need to try to touch your elbow to the center of the bull's-eye. That's how you will properly train the muscle.
•
That means you should not focus on just pulling the elbows back, but almost try to wrap them around behind your body to touch that imaginary bull's-eye. Try it out next time you train back.

Because this week I increased the weight while decreasing the reps, I want to talk about progressive overload. Most people think it means only increasing the weight you use over time.
•
But the truth is that you increase training volume over time. You can do this with the weight you use but it isn't the only way.
•
You can keep everything else the same and either do more sets, or more reps each set, increase the weight, or slow down the tempo of each repetition increasing the time your muscles are under tension.
•
So remember, it's increasing the total training volume that translates to progressive overload.

    Physical transformations aren't just physical. A transformation of the mind also takes place. But that mental change isn't visible in a picture. The only thing you see is me skinny fat on the left and muscular on the right. And yes, I actually had a bear gut back then... skinny with a belly... it was a weird .

Being in better shape not only make your more outwardly and physically alpha (man or woman) but it also makes you develop a certain kind of confidence that comes from looking physically better.

I believe that life overall becomes better. People automatically assume you're higher status because you're in shape, they will hold the door open for you, give you more ice cream when you go to buy ice cream, and treat you with more respect, to name a few.

Most people will go through life never understanding what it feels like. They will never feel the high from having a good workout, eating healthy, and treating your body with respect. And they will never feel the life changing confidence that comes with it.

People keep telling me that they don't have time and it's too hard. Listen... it might be hard but you know what's harder? Staying the f***ing same! There is no excuse to not be in shape. In fact, I believe that if you are in your 20s then you absolutely should be in shape.

This does take time but trust me the journey is enjoyable. I love that hour in the day that I'm training. You will grow to enjoy it. The results you get along the way will motivate you as well. And before you know it gets fun. So start RIGHT NOW!! Endure the difficult stuff now so you get the good stuff for the rest of your life .

I usually do very heavy low reps leg workouts so doing this one made me feel like throwing up in quite the literal sense  but I got through it .

2️⃣ SINGLE-LEG LEG PRESS: 3 sets
3️⃣ LEG EXTENSION: 3 sets (lean slightly forward)
4️⃣ LYING LEG CURL: 6 sets

If this is your first time doing high reps with legs, you might not have any energy left in your quads to stabilize you for a compound hamstring exercise like the Romanian deadlift.
•
I was supposed to do 4 sets of RDL and then 3 sets of lying leg curl. But since I had zero energy in my quads to stand with a bar in my palm, I did 6 sets of lying leg curl. I guess I'll do RDL right after squats next week. Lessons learned .
•
Legs are the most important body part you can train. You are walking everyday. You are using your legs the whole time you are awake. Training then will increase athletic performance and will reduce risks of knee injury because you are developing all the tissue around the knee joint.
