    🏆 The neck is the NUMBER ONE thing that will enhance your physique aside from a V-Tapered upper body.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ FACT.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 😅 If you’re not training your neck, you’re missing out. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 💪 IN THIS POST I will teach you how to build the neck of an ox, a tree trunk, a Herculean neck. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Interestingly enough, I started with an 11’ Neck just 2-2.5 years ago and after finding how big of a difference it makes on a physique - I started training it directly, as prescribed BELOW. Now I’m rocking a 15.5’ Neck (same size as my arms). 💯⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ • ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ To preface, why train the neck?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 👉 Simple! The neck is the connecting point from your body to your head.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Not only is it important for athletes to stay injury proof - it’s downright ESSENTIAL for accentuating a physique.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ CASE STUDY 📖 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (A) A guy with solid muscle development in the chest and biceps may look good at some angles..⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (B) A guy with decent chest development, normal-biceps, a THICK NECK and upper back will look dense and well-built from all angles.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The winner is obvious. You get the idea?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 💭 The neck is also what is first to be photo-shopped in all male-modeling campaigns. It just makes the face look more masculine and attractive. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 📚 And there’s a reason for that - the neck is where there are the highest androgen receptors (receptors for Testosterone).⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In essence, the neck is a signal of high circulating testosterone levels.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So the neck is important.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ How do we train it?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ —————————————-⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ NECK TRAINING REGIME 📝 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Performed once every 4-5 days (if you’re following a Kinobody Routine 😉), the neck responds very quickly to higher volume.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I superset the neck - back extension for the back/side of the neck (upper traps, splendid capitis) and forward flexion for the front side (sternocleidokastoid). ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⏰ It’s the only muscle I superset - saves time and I’m not lifting heavy here. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Perform 2-3 sets with 60-90 seconds rest.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Do 20 reps on back extension and 30 reps on forward flexion. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 📈 Start with a low weight (as you don’t want to strain yourself!). Once you can hit 3 sets and complete 20/30 full complete reps, move up in weight.

These felt so good and were quite rewarding! :) If you really want a crazy pump on the back of your arm; you should definitely add these to your arsenal of training. Make sure you get a full stretch and a proper contraction at the top of the movement. I also recommend always inhaling before the negative, (keeping your lungs filled with air and abdominal wall tight) and then exhale on the positive!
