Better than yesterday.
•
•
One of the biggest mistakes I have made over my various fitness journeys is that I try and overwhelm myself with looking forward. When I don’t feel I meet the expectations I have set from doing this, I spiral back.

Day 1 of anything is both the hardest and the easiest. Get through that one day, all you have to do on the next one is the same and add a fraction more. Constant and consistent improvements will yield the best results. My mantra is now “be better than yesterday”, each day I want to be in competition with myself.

Months from now I’ll reap the rewards of this, but that’s then. This is now.
•
•
Anyway, leg day annihilated this morning, a 2.5 mile walk completed this evening after work. Time for some R&R.

Erste Übung war die Beinpresse zum Start mit 50 kg pro Seite, also 100 kg. Habe mich dann heute bis auf 150 kg gesteigert. Die restliche Kraft musste für die nachfolgenden Übungen gespart werden. 
Nach einem erfolgreichen sportlichen Start in den Tag, habe ich dann in vollen Zügen meinen Urlaubstag genossen und eine Fahrradtour gemacht um das herrliche Wetter auszunutzen ️ bevor es morgen wieder ins Büro geht.

    hi. if you don’t know about me, i originally lost around 75 pounds in a little under a year. then, i gained almost half of that back in a matter of months due to stress and life tbh. i’m not ashamed of gaining weight, in fact, i’m happy that i did. i’ve learned a lot of lessons and realized that this is something a lot of people go through. i could’ve continued down the path of weight gain and unhealthy habits, but i’m choosing to love myself despite how hard it can be at times. if you are in a similar situation, believe me, i know how much it sucks, but you are not a failure. there is no finish line or expiration date on your fitness journey. it’s your journey and yours alone. don’t let how others live their life dictate how you should live yours.

    The view that inspires me the most when I jog/run around London city. 
I am happy to be jogging back into this beautiful city. Feeling a bit sad when I say JOG because I love running, for I drive a lot of positive energy and gain an attitude to fight back when I run. 
But since the time I've been pregnant, which was around this last time year. Since the I haven't been able to run for obvious reasons. I am not allowed to run yet for few more weeks. It's frustrating not being able to do something you love doing, at the same time amazed how our(a woman's body to be specific, before and after pregnancy) bodies can transform. In this process I've realised that sometimes only TIME can be the healer and only with after a certain phase of time things start falling in place the way we want. Until that time no matter what we do, how much efforts we put will not make any difference, we will only stress ourselves out with zero results. 
Lesson Learnt- Be patient and carry on at the pace you can. Everything will eventually come together just the way you want it to be. Trust the universe, trust the journey.

For me it’s being able to stay home with Kai while helping out my family financially. As a freelance hairstylist it’s amazing to get out of the house and be around adults for a few hours, but ultimately getting to stay home with my baby is the dream!

Coaching has given me the opportunity to make that leap. The community of people who are dedicated to their health before anything else, whether it’s fellow coaches or the kick ass bootcampers who are crushing their goals and seeing amazing results because they decided to take the same chance on themselves and their health. .
Coaching can be a personal journey for just you, something inspiring for a stranger, a side hustle to make a little extra cash or a an all in full time business. You’re results are what you make them. If I can share just a little bit of what I do on social media that may spark interest in someone to reach out and join me why wouldn’t I?!

If I feel this good about who I’m becoming and what goals I have for my future, why wouldn’t I want to share it and have as many people as possible feel the same way?!

    Your not overtraining .Your training incorrectly and clueless of why your doing what your doing in the gun and diet .

You must have a purpose. 
Your also not recovering enough or correctly .

Only 20% of Americans gry thier Minimum of exercising 2x a week which isnt enough for anything. Throw in averaging 4 hour softball rest a night  and your set up for obesity and disaster .

    Hey guys  Sorry that I've completely vanished off the face of the earth the past two weeks 
I was feeling pretty rough then my boyf went on holiday so I went to stay with my parents for the week so couldn't get to the gym (trying to bond my kittens with my parents dog so they dont eat each other when we go on holiday and leave them there!!). Back home now though and back into the gym and spin classes! Only a week until holiday so intending on gymming every day until then so shall be back on insta!

    Hey guys Sorry that I've completely vanished off the face of the earth the past two weeks I was feeling pretty rough then my boyf went on holiday so I went to stay with my parents for the week so couldn't get to the gym (trying to bond my kittens with my parents dog so they dont eat each other when we go on holiday and leave them there!!). Back home now though and back into the gym and spin classes! Only a week until holiday so intending on gymming every day until then so shall be back on insta! I’d previously been trying to squeeze too much into each session which had been stressing me out because I  wanted to fit everything in but knew I couldn’t. Which actually ended up with me doing less where I was procrastinating about not fitting it all in

As some of you know I’ve joined a new gym It was a big change for me as the gym I previously went to was very small and all the faces were so familiar 
This new gym is muuuch bigger and full of lots of scary looking people
Over the last week I’ve had to dig deep and be brave to keep going and now I’m feeling so much more comfortable!
So I thought I’d share some tips that have helped me
1️⃣Wear a gym outfit that makes you feel bomb af if you feel confident in yourself, this is obviously going to help the anxiety decrease a little bit
2️⃣Make a great workout playlist this will help hype you up to smash your workout️‍️ and also shut out any outside noise
3️⃣Bring a friend‍️ if you have someone to talk to and hide with if the anxiety gets really bad this is SUCH a help
4️⃣Have a plan before you go in if you know what you’re doing, you don’t have to worry about coming up with a workout on the spot in a busy gym, you’ll get your sets done quicker and have a more efficient workout
5️⃣Remember no one in there is better than you, you’re all just there to workout and better yourselves
6️⃣No one will be judging you, they’re all far too concerned with themselves and what they’re doing

INGREDIENTES:

Zanahoria
Pimiento rojo y verde
Cebolla

Salsa: 
Aove + salsa de soja . 
PROCEDIMIENTO: 
1. Salteamos la verdura en la sartén con un poquito de aceite hasta que esté prácticamente hecha. 
2. Una vez doradita hacemos montaditos rellenando con ella los filetes de pechuga. 
3. Metemos al horno durante 10-15 minutos a 160 grados. 
4. Sacamos y añadimos la salsa, dos cucharaditas de salsa de soja mezclada con una cucharadita de aove.Queda

Now that I have your attention, I have to admit that this is only a half truth. When you drink you’re much more likely to dehydrate yourself which would lead to less than optimal tissue quality (you want your muscles to be well hydrated and fully recovered before exercising). Alcohol as well as many other things are a stress on the body, which will now have an effect on your ability to recover from training.(You’re only as strong as your ability to recover). We could go into a whole conversation on HRV but I’m reserving that for another post. While drinking can be, but if your goals is to look, feel, and preform your best then it should be reserved for limited occasions or don’t drink to excess. (If you’re triggered I am not saying a small glass or one drink will set you over, although for some people it could. What I am saying is consider what alcohol is doing to your body before you decide to drink and think you’re going to crush it in the gym the next day).
