    Mindfulness is more than just being present and in the moment. It is about cultivating an energy of intentionality and awareness that is akin to living fully awake, noticing thoughts, feelings, and emotions without judgement. . I meditate so I can sit with less than savory thoughts, emotions, and experiences instead of running, escaping or repressing them. . I meditate so I can calm my parasympathetic nervous system that has been conditioned to exist in a fight or flight response. . I meditate because the world demands so much of me all the time, and those few minutes each day see my opportunity to return back to me. Merely acknowledging my breath and noticing it flow in and out, without any effort or control on my part. . I meditate so I can continue to show up as the best version of myself in interactions with others. It is an essential practice on my “Life is best when...” list. .     The number one mistake people make when chasing down goals is thinking the goal will make them happy.⠀ .⠀ Let's be real The goal will never make us happy. Not in a lasting, fulfillment, true joy kind of way. ⠀ .⠀ There is nothing wrong with setting and achieving goals, as long as we are not pinning our hopes and dreams for eternal happiness on those goals. It just won’t work and we will be profoundly disappointed.⠀ .⠀ What's more important than the goal, is who we are becoming in the process. Its important to routinely check in with ourselves and ask some hard questions like:⠀ 1️⃣ Who am I becoming in the process of achieving this goal and do I like that person?⠀ 2️⃣ What kind of person do I want to be?⠀ 3️⃣ What does my best self look like?⠀ 4️⃣ How do I want to show up in the world?     #aaJeeteHainChal🏊🚴🏃 👉Woke up late with lot of tiredness,🥀 started run a longer route🙏 and my mind routed me to the measurement of that distance at each step.☄️ Couldn't able to complete more than 5kms, again a backtrack. 🙊 👉This time the realization is quite offending me,🌵 I have a phobia of facing longer track visibility 🔭or the bigger task assigned to me. 👉With shorter visibility I was able to track more than 10kms🏃 back to back three days while when came to achieve that on longer route with no visibility, I got dumped myself. 👎 👉With some company 👬i may able to track the longer route, that's my assumption as per my past experiences. I need to fight with my phobia in all sort.🧔 👉With another recent info, I was unaware of incident impacts on myself🤔💭 and I was surprised to see myself fight with those painfull times.🦸 👉It's actually the ribs fracture🦴(all over chest ) happened in recent incident and till yesterday💦 (when I read my medical report) I was really unaware of it. 👉The way I fought with it, I need to overcome my distant phobia. 👁️If I reached till here then I have capability to go on. 🧘🧗 #YouWeCan#MenAgainstCancer🏋️#alwaysBelieve#dashKeto#breatheIn#breatheOut#keepMotivating#cancerSurvivor🏋️ Donot pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.

    2 words explain how it feels to be living in this part of the world these days: . 1. Uncertainty 2. Alienation . I have accepted the former. After countless anxiety attacks, I have accepted my fear of uncertainty, my lack of control over it and left it to god. . As for alienation, I am still struggling with it. The sensation of non-belonging anywhere is still strong, yet I am capable of trusting god with what He brings (which is a good enough progress for me given how cerebral I am). . What about you? Are you struggling with any of these? Or maybe some other notions?
